Sai Kung District is one of Hong Kong's larger and more varied districts: on one side there is Sai Kung Town, its waterfront promenade and country surroundings; on the other there is the high-density housing and shopping centres of the Tseung Kwan O new town. The whole of Tseung Kwan O belongs to Sai Kung District, a point confirmed in public administrative sources, so a Sai Kung page must include Tseung Kwan O rather than treating it as a separate district.

The most important point, and the easiest to get wrong, is that Sai Kung Town itself has no MTR station. Transport in Sai Kung Town is by bus, minibus and taxi, for example KMB route 92 between Sai Kung and Diamond Hill station, and green minibuses towards Hang Hau station. Residents near Lakeside Garden or Tui Min Hoi Chuen who choose to travel to Shek Mun themselves should first take a bus or minibus to an MTR station and allow time for the interchange; free SF Express pickup and delivery is the more direct option if a long multi-stage journey is not wanted.

Tseung Kwan O is quite different. The Tseung Kwan O line serves Tiu Keng Leng, Tseung Kwan O, Hang Hau, Po Lam and LOHAS Park stations, with shopping centres such as Park Central, East Point City, Metro City and Tseung Kwan O Plaza nearby, and housing including Sheung Tak, Hau Tak, Po Lam and Kin Ming Estates, as well as Park Central, LOHAS Park and Ocean Shores. From Hang Hau or Po Lam, take the Tseung Kwan O line to Tiu Keng Leng and then follow the MTR route onwards towards Shek Mun; check train times before setting out.

There is no shop in Sai Kung, so there are two ways to send a machine in. The first is free SF Express pickup and delivery, arranged after a phone or WhatsApp conversation about the fault, which is especially convenient for Sai Kung Town residents. The second is to travel yourself to Room 1209, Tat Lee Plaza, Shek Mun, Sha Tin, via Shek Mun Station Exit C, open 12:00–19:00. Confirmed starting prices are: battery from HK$580, screen from HK$1,280, motherboard chip-level repair from HK$880, and keyboard from HK$480. Anything else is quoted in writing after diagnosis.

Before sending a machine in, whether you live in Sai Kung Town or Tseung Kwan O, back up important files, note the fault, whether the machine powers on, and whether it has been dropped or exposed to liquid, and state the model and charger condition.
